An Introduction to Leading For Equity

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

This session draws from the National Equity Project signature Leading For Equity Institute and 20 years of developing equity leaders in schools and educational organizations across the country. It will highlight common misconceptions and introduce new research and approaches to interrupting the predictability of low outcomes and experiences for individuals and groups who have historically been marginalized based on their identity (race, ethnicity, culture, income, gender, sexual orientation, disability, etc.). Participants will engage in an interactive experience that supports the group to develop their understanding of the ways that inequity is reproduced and to consider ways to take up equity leadership at the individual and systemic change levels.
