Limited Capacity filling up

In the Thompson School District, The Learning Services Department gathered feedback from staff around the professional learning experiences that were being offered.  As a result, the Learning Services Department developed a Personalized Professional Learning Pathway model, which provided 29 pathways teachers could access for their professional learning.  The pathways shifted professional learning from one-size fits all to experiences that were based on the personal passions of teachers that allowed for continued growth through a personalized experience and provided the opportunity for implementing the new learning in daily classroom practice. Our experience revealed the benefit of utilizing our internal teacher expertise to provide deeper personalized experiences teacher to teacher.  This last year, our second year, we developed a modified Ed Camp system to provide true individualized and personalized learning for educators. The modified Ed Camp model includes social emotional and academic pathways offerings.  The components of the pathways that will be shared include the expectations for the facilitators and teachers as well as the communications and feedback that have been gathered.
