Why does mindset matter in terms of teaching STEM subjects? The impact of encouraging a student to face challenges has research based data which shows significant success. This strategy will be applied to this 90-minute workshop where educators will walk through the Design Thinking Process of building solar ovens all the while utilizing positive-growth mindset strategies to facilitate the process. Educators take-aways will be an understanding of positive-growth mindset, practical applications for your classroom, and the solar oven lesson plans.
